Pale Moon Pirates

Retired!
Race:  Orc

Description
The Pale Moon Pirates are the blood bowl team of the Pale Moon Clan.

On the field the Pirates display much of the same ruthlessness as their sires did when they invaded Bitterstone Hold, showing no mercy and they are not above any dirty tricks to weaken the opposition.

'Ere we go, 'ere we go, 'ere we go!
In the match Pale Moon Pirates - Happy Squirrels (Season 14, Round 5) Chuck Cave-smasha really outdid himself and even though he spent almost half the match trying to remember what to do with the ball in his hands, he still managed to score 2 TD:s and do 2 Casualties, one of them was killing the Rat Ogre Skrus The Twisted in a defensive block.

The match ended in a 2-2 draw, but the Pirates still cheered like winners then they left the arena as they managed to injure no less than 4 opposing players.

We tried to reach Chuck Cave-smasha for a comment after the game, but he promptly ate our goblin reporter.

Waaaaaagh!
Pale Moon Pirates are back from their six seasons training break, and they seem to mean business this time. Winning Both against Tüskarna från Linghed in the pre season SquigBowl as well as against Body Count in round 1, giving their fans a good show for the money by racking up both touchdowns and casualties in the matches.

In an Interview 3 Wurrag Facestompa said:
“Weew been trainin’ ‘ard to ‘member to pick da ball up, ‘efore we start smacking dem uvvva gits teef in.” later in the same interview he also claimed “Captain Coach say if we jus’ keep da ball snug, dem uvva gits will come te us so wes can smack ‘em even more, an' dat’s right cunnin’ dat is.”

Training break
After a somewhat disappointing first season the Pirates coach has decided not to enter Season II but instead take some time off for training.
“Da boys smash dem opponents to pieces but we still loose, mebby da boys needs more trainin’ wiv da ball.”

The Pirates fans did not take the news so well, starting a Riot that all but destroyed a city-block in Altdorf before the guards could quell the angry supporters.

Nun shall stand in our path!
The Pirates is preparing for their next battle, and is more hungry for blood than ever. This time they are facing the leaders of group Röd, the Holy Sisters of Thyr.

With two straight losses in the last games, the Pirates will surely need to resort to some underhand tricks to win the game, rumours of bombs and chainsaws are all around, but the fans will have to wait for the match to see what kind of violence the Pirates will cause. The Nuns tend to shun any armour except their faith but may regret that decision during this match.

It will also be interesting to see what the newest addition to the team, Gaalic Stinkbreff 31, will accomplish during the match, bringing more speed and agility to the otherwise hulking and brutal team.

As always, expect a lot of blood when the Pirates take the field.
