Two games to go The game in the 4th round, against the Slann team Lustria Star Kickers ended without a single touchdown for either team and only one frog in the casualty box.
Coach Bubba seems disappointed.
"We did the kicking and brawling as usual, but the boys are lazy. Next match we meet deadites, boyz have to kick harder.
Against the hobbits, they stayed in the dugouts when kicked out. Frogs were jumpy today. Deadites keep coming back." |

First round summary "Bubba happy"
That was the spontaneous response when asked to comment the re-match against the Manson Family Tree.
"Could you elaborate?"
"Game went good, blocking more than kicking. Thrudder, Virgil and Number all had a go at the pointy earz lying down. It was a good scrap.Trouble is with ref, maybe next time he´ll know better than to interfere..."
Well, fouling is illegal, even in Blood Bowl. And the most obvious usually tends to get caught by the referee.

Bubba wants revenge! After the humiliating defeat in Squigbowl in which Manson Family Tree totally humiliated and seriously injured the blodging blitzer VIrgil our sources can report that Bubbas´s Brawlerz has been seen preparing for the first round of Season 15.
Gork (or possibly Mork) have given them the opportunity to cleanse their reputation by pairing them up against the Wood Elf team once again.
"Squigbowl taught us that woodies can´t be trusted.
We don´t trust Squigs. Only trust Gork" says Bubba himself when asked to comment on the debacle during last game.
First kick-off resulted in no less than six squigs running around dangerously close to the Orc EZ, taking away focus from the beating and bashing of pointy-eared Elves that they love so much. The game ended 3 -1 in favour of the Wood Elf team, Bubba managed to score late in the game but they were never close to tie let alone winning that one.
This time, without the distraction of Squigs, will they do better? Perhaps. |

First of the pre-season games is done Bubba´s Brawlerz seems eager to be entering the 15th season of Stockbowl and they are taking any chance they get to get prepared for the first kick-off as they are entering the Reserves Rumble as well as SquigBowl 14.
First match, against Pellevins Salzenmunds Demigryphs, ended 2-0 in favor of the Orcs.
Casulties were 5-0, included here is the kill made by Virgol the Blitzer.
The game was pretty well visited, with a total of 17 000 tickets sold.
Both TD was made by Virgil the Blitzer, he also made a Cas.
When asked to comment on the second TD he stated:
"Thrudder (the Thrower) is too slow, Virgol is faster. He took the ball and gave me it. I had to work to get there but in the 16th round i reached EZ for TD." So that was that I guess.
Black Orc Blocker Bubbla was awarded the MVP, not really sure why but when asked if he was content with that decision he said "Yes, Bubbla happy".
Also Number the Goblin did allright during the match, he was on the field for most of the game and even got to hold the ball for half a round. The Troll Klonk wasn´t as dimwitted as his peers usually are, and was only dumbstruck during one of the rounds.
In the post-match sequence the teams fan factor raised by 1 and with the winnings earned during the match an apothecary was employed. Virgil the Blitzer rolled a double and is now Blodging.
The team is looking sharp for next weekend´s Squigbowl. |
